Inspection of Lifting Equipment

Safety Health and Welfare at Work (General Applications) Regulations 2007, requires that all duty holders (owners, hirers, users) in all work environments (industrial, commercial, construction, hospital, nursing homes etc.) are legally bound to have lifting equipment inspected periodically and must ensure that a register of lifting equipment, distinguishing number, date of first use and date of last thorough examination and testing is maintained and kept available for inspection.
